Print preview background missing

I have View:picture:Detailed Display selected.
I have File:print:Advanced Print Settings:Graphics and Fonts:print
full-resolution linked graphics selected.

However, I only see my text, and no backgrounds or images in the Print
Preview. What am I missing?
