Print reports to a timescale

G

Glenn K

Being very new to Project, please be forgiving...

I need to print a view as a report for a specified resource. All goes well
until i try and specify a time frame to print (i.e. 1 weeks worth - specified
with dates in the print dialog window). If i choose to print 2 days it prints
3 days - 7 days it prints 2.5 weeks, etc, etc. Why is this so? Am i missing
somethiong obivious? Shouldn't specifing a 'Date Range" mean it will print
the 'Date Range"?

Please help - it is very annoying

Hi,

It also gently fills the page.
When you make your timescale larger it will no longer add time to the
printed timescale.

Please explain?

I don't know if I explained the problem properly:

If i want to print 7 days worth (specified in the 'Date Range') why don't i
get 7 days?

I seem to get either 2 or three days, or 2.5 weeks (the total project range
extends on both sides of the "Date Range' required.

Hi,

I never get less than what is specified in Date Range, whatever I try
Date Range... will only make the picture smaller never wider.
That is why you have to increas ethe scale of the Timescale.
