Printer won't print shadows that are on slide

What I see is not what the print preview screen shows. No shadows on the
font. I have Windows XP 2002. Thanks. Lori

Are you printing black and white, grayscale, or color when you go to File |
Print?

Which version of PPT are you using? PPT 2002?
