I get a message in Publisher 2000 that says "cannot load
the printer driver" when I try to print. I can't find
anything on microsoft's site to help. The printer works
in other programs just not publisher. Any Ideas?

Publisher is more demanding on printers than other Office applications. Go to the
manufacturer's web site and look around for updated drivers.

I already contacted the manufacturer for updated drivers
and installed them. Any other suggestions?

Do you have another printer that you can try to print to and see if you get
the same error message?

Delete the printer drivers, if it asks 'Do you want to remove all the files
no longer needed' answer YES

Then re-boot the computer and install the latest driver.

Make sure you only have the one copy of the printer driver installed, or
remove them all.
