If I install Microsoft "WORD" for windows and it does not read my printer
will that prevent it from installing all the fonts? After uninstalling &
reinstalling "WORD" twice & obtaining the same results is that a sign that my
printer and/or its driver is dead?

Hi
If you can print from Notepad, your printer is OK.
If not, check connections, print a test page on the printer ( not fro
Windows)
Is it a network or local printer?
Do you find it under Settings - printer ?
If so, is it indicated as "ready" ?
You can of course always install a newer drive , it won't hurt

Have you selected your printer under the Word File>Print dialog? (Or set
your printer as the default printer in the Windows>Printers and Faxes
dialog.
