Printing a 3 fold brochure on desktop printer.

G

Graham

Hi all. Usually I am not this dumb, but first time using Publisher. I have
made a 3 fold brochure/panphlet with print spread over 2 pages. When I try to
print if prints out portrait style with only 2 of the three columns per page
showing.

Tried to change in print settings but even swapping to landscape isn't
helping. Any ideas please?

Cheers

Can you setup any other publication to landscape okay? Is your printer driver
current? Check at the manufacturer's web to be sure. Most printing issues can be
solved with an updated driver.
Have you set your margins correctly? Are you using a template?

A secondary question. Some may call it three fold, others twofold.
I want to publish a brochure, 2 folds, 3 sections inside, 3 sections
outside. 8.5 X 14 paper.
I have Pub 2003.
Is there a template available?
Thanks.

Just had same problem.

Go to file/new.../publications for print/brochures and choose any template
for 2fold three page brochure.

Thanks. I knew it had to be someplace and I drew a blank about going to
"NEW"

P.S.
I still can't believe I missed it.
It's the only program I have (had) that came up with the "intro" screen.
Had I just opened (without a help screen) I would have automatically gone to
"New".
