printing booklets

Hi,

Am having a problem printing a publisher file setup as a booklet to a
Minolta CN3101 printer.
If I do a print preview or print the orientation is wrong. It is set up as
landscape A3 and I have 2 pages per A3 i.e. 2 a4 pages next to each other.
If I set the printer to my inkjet HP 1200 print preview is fine. How can it
be that the orientation is changed when changing to another a3 printer.
I will explain better. In publisher I see in front of me an a3 page divided
in 2 i.e. 2 a4 next to each other. If I choose my hp 1200 it prints as i see
it. When I change printers to the Minolta and do a print preview what i see
is an a3 in portrait and 1/2 pages next to each other also in portrait in
other words the bottom 1/3 of the page is blank. The orientation has
swithched.
Hope I am being clear because all this is really confusing me. Have changed
page orientation but that screws up the whole page.
Help much appreciated. Please get back if it is not clear.
Thanks.

Hi Mary,

I am using the latest drivers from the link you mentioned. Am going to try
changing my presentation to A4 and use the booklet function of the Minolta
to see if I can get around the problem.
It still prints 1 1/2 A4's next to each other on an A3 paper in Portrait
when I have everything set to landscape.

Have tried using the driver on a computer without the Minolta printer just
to see how the print preview comes out. Latest driver, no previous driver
installed. Same situation.
You could try installing the printer driver and open an A3 publisher
document in booklet form.
