Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

I need hard copy or my Address book. I find the templates provided don't layout correctly OR as I wish. I last printed on my PC on Outlook and got a nice 2 column, 27 page (8X10) complete address book (about 500 contacts) NOW with Entourage, I get a very awkward, badly spaced and formatted one column 81! page book. HELP!

Hi,

You are posting in the Word for Mac group ... but if you don't like the
print format Entourage is giving you, you can try to export the contacts to
an Excel list and then format your list in Excel. Just go to File - Export
in Entourage and export contacts to a list. You can open this file in Excel
and then edit from there.

to a list tab delimited
If you want an other layout you can also use this file and do a mail merge
into Word and create the layout you want. If you want to go for a Word
document you don't need to create the list you can just use the Offic
Address Book when you do the mail merge in Word.

Thank you. I've just figured some of this site out and will post to the proper forum.

I think you'll find that the Entourage group will point you in the same
direction :) Entourage doesn't have the same reporting features included in
Outlook, so if you want any particular formatting or custom layout -
including multiple columns - merging to a Word document using the Catalog
merge is the best option. Word *is* Entourage's reporting engine.
