Printing in MS Project 2007

Does printing in MS Project 2007 just not work like it did in 2003.

I am having a terrible time getting all my info on my gantt chart to print
and it will not do a "fit to" at all.

Starting to wonder if I should just go back to 2003.

Extremely frustrated.

Often times I have trouble with "Fit To" becuase I forget to change my paper
size. The default is letter (at least here in the US) and I continuoulsy
forget to set it to legal or 11x17 (or A2).

Other than that, I cannot think of anyting ... if you have a more specific
description maybe someone can jump in.

I am remember to change my paper size due to the fact that I print to a
variety of sizes depending on the project I am working on.
I guess the main problem I am having with 2007 is that I have text above,
below, left, and right of my gantt bars and when I go to print it does not
take the text on the gantt chart into acount and cuts it off so if at all I
can only see about half of the text line.

Thank you Jim.

Hi mccormick,

Have you tried widening each of the Gantt Chart rows? Select all tasks and
click and drag down the boundary between 2 rows. If that doesn't work,
check on FAQ Item: 44. Printing Problems.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)

Thank you Mike.

That got me half way there. I still can not get the program to make the
print outs scale to a set number of pages high by a set number of pages wide.

If anyone has any further ideas that would be great.

Thanks again.
