Printing multiple envelopes

I have recently upgraded my printer (to a Epson CX6600) and I am now not
able to print multiple, same address, envelopes in Word 2000.

I go to "Tools/envelopes and labels", which brings up the envelopes and
labels dialog box, in which I select the envelope size and type the
address etc. But....when I click on "Print", instead of bringing up the
print dialog box, where I would be able to select the number of envelope
copies, the print preview dialog box appears with the number of copies
(1) already selected.

The print dialog box does not appear when I click on the print icon on
the toolbar either. It only appears when I click on File/print.

Any help or advice for a Newbie would be appreciated.

It has never been possible to print more than one envelope from the Tools |
Envelopes and Labels dialog, and the Print button on the toolbar has always
been assigned to FilePrintDefault. This much has not changed. If you had
anything different before, then you had customized Word or had specific
features in the printer driver that made a difference.

To print multiple envelopes to the same address, click the Add to Document
button, press Ctrl+P to bring up the Print dialog, and print the desired
number of copies of page 0 or section 1.

Suzanne,

Thank you very much for your reply which solved my problem.

I haven't a clue how I managed to print multiple same address envelopes
in the past, certainly not the way you have described, so perhaps there
were specific features in my old printer driver.

Your help greatly appreciated.
