printing problem with inserted images

Hi

my powerpoint slide contains several inserted images (tiff and png). When I
print this slide, the images are surrounded by a white line. I use office xp.
What can I do to solve this problem ?

make the page size the same as as the paper you are printing to letter?
11x8.5 for landscape
in the page setup dialog
and in the print.. dialog set to scale to fit paper
