Problem in the opening of Word 2003

Hello,

I have a problem with some of files of Word 2003 ; it's happen in several
post in my company.
When a user want to open this file, there is an error message that says :

The document '****.doc' has provoked a serious erreur at the time of his
last opening. Would you like to continue ?

If we click on Yes, Word 2003 do anything.

We have noticed that's files which been created with Word 97.
That's a serious probleme because this files are very important and a lot of
users and a lot of files have this error.

It is possible that the files have become corrupted,
that there are left over temp files from prior crashes
or that you've run into an issue related that may be solved
by phoning your local MS Office to obtain the hotfix in this
