Problem printing page1 in Word 2007

David

I have Office 2007 on my workstation running Win/XP Pro SP2.

I have a word 2007 document 20 pages long. The cover page is page 1.
I have adjusted the footer for page 1 so I don't get a page number
printed on page 1. All other pages get the page number printed.

I can easily print the entire document including the cover page (page
1) if I want to. The problem is that I can't print just page 1. I
get nothing out of the printer.

This becomes an issue because I use my color ink jet printer for page
1 and my b/w laser for the rest.

Is there any easy way to print just page 1?

Doesn't your Print panel have a box for saying which page(s) to print?
(It depends on the printer, not on Word.)

Usually if you have more than one page 1 (because you've restarted
numbering), Word will print them all, but in your case maybe it's terminally
confused. Try adding the section number (p1s1) and see if that helps. If all
else fails, you can put the insertion point on that page and choose "Current
page."
