Problem since upgrading from Office 2000 to 2003

When I upgraded from 2000 to 2003 on my Microsoft office all of the Excel
spreadsheets I had setup changed. When I type numbers they are aligned over
to the right and I would like it to align to the left. Is there a way I can
just change the default in Excel for all spreadsheets so I don't have to
change each sheet one by one? Any help would be great.
