I have Windows XP Professional and Office 2003 Professional and when I start
Microsoft Word it works perfectly until I try to paste text into it. I get a
message box titled "Installing Components for Microsoft Office Word" with the
message: "Installing: Microsoft Office Word feature". The program pastes the
text after the install is complete, so the software is still working at
least. And surprisingly, if I click the Cancel button before the install is
complete, the box goes away and my pasted text appears. Then I'm able to
paste all I want until I close the program and reopen it. Then the same
problem occurs. I'm wondering why on earth it does this. Is there a quick
fix? Could it be a virus? It doesn't occur with any other Microsoft program
so far. I tried reinstalling Office from the disk, but the problem remains.
