Problem with Capacity in Data Analysis View

It seems like the readings for capacity are miscalculated somehow when viewed
from a data analysis view.

I have set up a resource pool of 23 resources, each resource currently has
its max availability set to 100% for an indefinite period of time. Also the
resource calenders is the unmodified standard calender.

When the resource availability is consulted from the resource center, the
capacity is correctly displayed as I would expect.

When we build a Data Analysis view however, it seens that the capacity is
only calculated for a limited period from 2007Q3 till 2008Q3. Could someone
tell me what might be causing this behavior?

Thanks.

Before I address the issue, I want to clarify that:

by capacity we mean availability, and
by Data Analysis we mean Portfolio Analyzer

Perhaps you're posting from another language area, so I want to make
sure the message comes across clearly. I believe the reason the Data
Analysis only shows the limited timespan is because it is set that
way. Under Admin > Manage Enterprise Features there is an option for
how far into the past and future you want the OLAP Cube to gather
resource capacity. It looks like yours is set for 3 months in the past
(roughly) and 9 months in the future (roughly).

These settings can be changed by someone with Administrator
privileges. Be wary though, as increasing the time range for gathering
resource data will also increase the load on the server, sapping
resources and make Cube build times longer. Maybe not that big of a
problem, but something to think about.
