When compacting some databases I systematically get a 'STOP 0x0000005" error.
The error occurs only after the compact and repair function, all
functionality of database application programming, running and converting to
..mde remains it's only compacting that triggers an error.
After long searching I found the error occurs when a database has a access
library (mda or mde) in its references. That library however is used for
already 5 years and itself compacts and compiles flawlessly.
The error even occurs when the refered library is a new and empty one, so
it's merely the fact that an access code is put in the references that
suddenly triggers that error I never had before.
I also recently found that starting dialer.exe gives the error OLE
initialisation failed.
COuld there be a relation.
Does someone have any clue about the source of this problem ?
