Problem with macro

I am using Powerpoint 2002 version. I am using macros to resize png files
after importing it into powerpoint.

When I create a macro in ppt the macro works fine. The problem arises when
I save the ppt file and open it again and when I try to run the macro the RUN
botton shows as disabled.

Why does this happen ? I would like to know how to resolve this.

Would help if you posted the macro code , how you added it etc.

A guess though ......
Is macro security set to medium or below. If not the code wont run. reset it
, close ppt and load the file again.

I don't think there is a need, in this case, to post the macro code. Your
second thought is almost definitely correct: macro security.

Your guess is right. It was due to the security setting. The setting was
high, I changed it to medium and its working fine now.
