Problem with PowerPoint Resizing on Save - XP

I am using Office XP and when I paste an Excel object or Link and
Excel Object in Powerpoint, the size is accurate. But as soon as it
Saves or Autosaves, the size changes and it becomes distorted. How do
I prevent this? Is anyone else seeing this issue?

Not sure if this is the issue or not, but if you inserted your chart in
one of the content layouts (where you have 6 icons to choose the type of
content), and you also have "autolayouts" chosen in Tools/Options, I can
see how that could cause the chart content placeholder to resize.

Might be worth a look, anyway. If you turn off the "autolayouts" option,
does that resolve the issue?
