problem with range.MoveEndUntil method

I can't figure out a strangeness I'm seeing when I try to use the
MoveEndUntil method on a range I'm working with.

I can use it sucessfully to move until any character(s) I choose, except the
double quote mark. I've tried using the """" and Chr(34) as representations
of a double quote which is in my range, but it can't find it.

Any ideas?

thanks.

Hi Chip,

Is it possible that in the text you're searching, the quotes are
"curly quotes" a.k.a. "smart quotes", Chr(147) and Chr(148)? I don't
have any trouble with that method using Chr(34) if the quotes are
"straight quotes".

Thanks so much Jay for the answer!!!

I may have mentioned that I'm blind and use a screen reader to read aloud to
me what's on the screen; the darned thing reads smart quotes as just "quote"
just like a straight quote, so once I went and got someone to actually
verify what was on the screen, it was easily rectified.

Now I'll have to go and complain to a different software company!!! ;(
("second verse, same as the first!")

thanks again,

Chip
