Problem with toolbar

Dima

Hi!
I have a problem with Visio 2003 running under Windows XP. When I try to
customize Visio’s toolbars, I can add or delete whole toolbars but if I
remove separate icons from the toolbars, the changes are not kept after the
computer was restarted.

Disable any COM Add-ins in Visio under Tools > Macros > COM Add-ins. If
that doesn't help check the C:\Documents and
Settings\<username>\Application Data\Microsoft\Visio folder for any *.vsu
files and see if they are getting modified. VSU files are where the custom
toolbar info for Visio is stored.

Aaron,

Thanks for the information. I am having the same issio in Visio 2007. I
didn't see any COM Add-ins and I found the .vsu file, but did not know what
to do when I found it - any ideas? Also I have seen a couple of post
pertaining to Adobe causing issues with the custom toolbars - any known
issues about this?

Thanks,

Jeff-
