Hi,
I am having trouble customizing the pens in OneNote 2007 Beta 2. I mean I
can costumize the pen (change name, color, thickness) but when I hit OK, my
settings do not override the previous settings for that pen but it just
creates a "Custom Pen" at the end of the pen list. And when I try to
customize another pen, it just overrides the settings I had before for that
"Custom Pen". That mean basically that I can save only one customized pen
while all the other 12 default pens stay with their default settings no
matter what I do. I am sure that's not how it's supposed to be. The help
file says:
"OneNote includes eight felt-tip pens and four highlighters. Customizing
pens does not add new selections to the list of available pens. For each pen
you customize, the original selection is replaced with the options that you
specify."
Unfortunately, the "the original selection is replaced" part does not work
for me. Is this a know bug or am I doing something wrong or what? I am
reluctant to start writing my notes on OneNote 2007 since the default pens
are either too thin or too thick for my taste and having only one pen out of
13 that fits your needs is not very helpful. Any help?
Thanks!
Chris
