Problems opening an archive .pst

I am trying to use Outlook 2002 to open an archive .pst
file that was created by a different Outlook installation
(though the version are the same). When I try to use
Outlook to open the .pst file, I get the following
message:

archive.pst is not compatible with this version of the
Personal Folders information service.

Any suggestions?
