problems with global resources

Hello group,

I am in an urgent need of assistance. We set up a project
server: win2k server + sp4, sql 2000 server + analysis
services + sp3a, project server 2002. The installation and
configuration went smoothly - all needed users were
created everywhere, the com+ settings were redone with the
pscom+ app, the team services were installed correctly and
a connection to the subweb has been added in PWA. After
that we set up another user in PWA with admin rights and
used this user to make a connection from Project 2002 Pro
to the server. We restored the GlobalEnterpriseTemplate
from a EntGlobalBackUp.mpt file and restarted Project Pro
to recache the local template. After that we imported a
project from a file, saved it, and imported the resources
from the same file. No errors were reported in Project
Pro. But when I go to Resources in PWA I don't see all of
them in there. When I open the imported project in Project
Pro and go to View->Resource: Table I see all the
resources. Same if I use Extra->Ent. Options->Open Global
Resourcepool - the resources check out normal. However
when I try to save the checked out resources, it happens
seemingly without errors, but in the windows error
protocol there is this message:
Ereignistyp: Fehler
Ereignisquelle: Microsoft Project Server Tracing Eventlog

Ereigniskategorie: Keine

Description: Assert Detected. The error code was also
included.

And I still don't see all of the resources in PWA... What
is wrong? Did I miss something?
Btw. same error is to be seen in the error protocol when I
try to create a cube. The creation fails without any other
error messages. I checked the ODBC settings and the entry
for PC10DSN seems to be ok too....

Any help would be highly appreciated. TIA.
