Problems with MS Office 97 Pro using ME?

Could anyone tell me why I am having problems using the drop-down menus on MS
Office pro 97 with WinME? They only work if I press the enter button but not
on a mouse click. Is there a compatibility problem between MSOffice 97 and
Win ME? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, KML

Hi Kev,

Check the website for the mouse brand you are
using to see if there is an updated driver for
the mouse. Logitech mice were ones that experienced
this problem, for example.

thanks very much for this. I am using a Logitech mouse so I guess this may
