Producer on Macintosh?

Now that IE is unavailable for the Mac, Producer playback is apparently no
longer supported on the Mac. Does anyone have a way to play Producer files on
the Mac? Is there any word from Microsoft about re-establishing compatibility
for Mac users? Is there an alternative?
