I have a Windows 98 PC on which i have installed Microsoft
Office For Students.
I have just bought a new Windows XP PC, and wish to
install Microsoft Office from the same CD (same licence).
I have been advised that this is not possible due to
Product Activation.
If i deinstall from the Windows 98 PC, can I then install
onto the Windows XP PC?
Are there any alternatives?

Yes, you can uninstall and reinstall on the XP machine. Use the telephone
activation method for activating it on the new machine.
