product key won't work

I have office 2000 that I am loading on my new computer. It worked fine in
loading on my previous computer, but won't load because it says the product
key is not correct. I am loading the same one from the back of the CD case,
so I know it is correct? I am at a loss! Anyone have an idea what is going
on?

Either you are not entring the key correctly or you have a problem with your
keyboard.

If the key worked in the past then it will work now.
