Product Key Wrong

hello

I recently leased a computer from store, they provided me with the original
sticker from Windows Vista Home Basic with the product key, when I try to
enter that information on Office it states it is the wrong key? Am I wrong
to assume that the office suite is part of the Vista package? Do I have to
wrong key?
No one at the place where I leased the computer can seem to help.

Thanks

The product key on the PC is that for Vista
The Office suite is not part of, and never has been, of any operating
system.
Where did you get the Office suite from?

Vista and office are two different things, with two different keys.

Are you saying Office came with the leased computer nad it is not activated?
Something does not sound right.

The product key affixed to your computer is for Windows Vista (the operating system)
and not for Microsoft Office. Please review the following:

That is not the product key for Word or Office. That's the key for Windows.
If you can't find the key, you need to call your computer manufacturer and
ask them where to look. You may only have a trial version and will need to
buy the full version. (If so, Amazon.com has it for less than Microsoft,
plus you'll have the disks.)
