Progress display on "Group by" Summary tasks

Hi,
I use Grouping in my project rather extensively. Unfortunately, I still can
not figure out if I can display progress on "Group by" summary tasks the same
way it is displayed in "normal" summary tasks on a Gantt chart.
i used "actual start - complete through" , "actual start - summary
progress" and other combinations on "format bar styles" menu, but managed
only to show the progress formatted bar for the summary bars, when entered
"actual start - finish" or "start - finish" in "from" - "to" fields. So I
know I format the right bar, but not in hte right way, so I can display the
progress correctly, as it just goes all the way from start to finish,
parallel to the task itself.

Is there a possibility to show the progress on "Group by" Summary tasks at
all?
And if yes, how on earth )

If anyone experienced the same problem and have a solution, please help.

hi,
You can use Microsoft Office Project groups to categorize and report project
information in a variety of ways. Grouping also can provide rolled up summary
data on each field in the group.

We are having the same problem. Our team uses the graphic display of
progress extensively for executive level slides. We would welcome a solution
to this problem. Progress can be displayed in text over the bar, or in any
position - but we can not geta bar to show "progress" relative to the group
by summary bar. We have no problem at all when showing progress on
traditional summary (indented) tasks.
