I have a system running Windows XP Pro, with Office 2003 (Academic)
installed. I have Project 2000 that I just had an occassion to install, and
am wondering about the update process within the environment described.
Office Update doesn't "see" the MS Project installation, not sure if it's
because MS doesn't support it anymore, or that it only sees the Office 2003
apps, or that I couldn't register MS Project (the wizard defaulted to a dial
up connection when I tried to register, it did not see my broadband
connection. I can't figure out how to work around). Anyway, can I simply go
to Office Updates, download Project 2000 updates (like SR-1), and it will see
the ap and install correctly? Thank you in advance for any guidance you may
offer.
