Project 2000 with Server 2002

Question
Can I use P2000 in any way with Project Server 2002.
We have PS2002 configured and we are now testing and have a few
clients with P2000 will they do anything with this version.

We only get the Project Create to work. We can't get it to XML Task information or other MSP DB information to come accross. Anyone get the full interface as discribed by MS in the courseware to work properly? Any alternatives that work?

Do you want an Enterprise Implementation or a Workgroup implementation?
Project 2000 does not play in the enterprise environment.

Thank You for the insite we want the enterprise environment looks
like we will have to upgrade the 2000 clients.

I do have another question if I may.

What would you recommend be backed up. PS Database etc any suggestions
would be great. I am looking for the bare min for backup

Hello Gary,

Does Enterprise Implementation include the use of
SharePoint? So, if I allow Project 2000 clients in, would
this just allow me to use the Public Documents only and
not associate any documents with a particular project (if
I am understand the use of SharePoint correctly).

ps - also, once Project Server is set up, can I change it
to allow 2000 clients? I can't seem to find where I can
do this and hope it's not too late now.

Nevermind, I found where to allow 2000 clients access.
(under Admin - Security).
