Project 2002 and Checked Out Projects

Kelly

We have upgraded to Project 2002 with Microsoft Project
Server. When I use Project Web Access, I am considered an
administrator. In the past month, the following has
happened on several occassions:

I am working in Project 2002 while connected to Microsoft
Project Server. I am editing an existing project plan
(one that I created). My PC and/or Project 2002 locks up
and I have to end the Project 2002 task or reboot the
PC. After rebooting, I attempt to open the project
within Project 2002 but am unable to because the project
has been checked out. Since the pc/application locked up,
I don't have a local copy of the file.

I have also attempted to check the plan back in through
the Admin tool in Project Web Access to no avail. The
checked out plan does not list in Web Access as being
checked out.

Any ideas on how to unlock or restore checked out plans
in this type of situation?

TIA,
Kelly
