Project 2002 saving as 2000

When I open a blank template it opens as 2002, however when i save it saves
as 2000, and reopening the document it opens as 2000. Save as only presents
an option to Save As 'Project' or 'Project 98'. Is there anyway to default
the save to 2002 ?

While 2000 and 2003 formats are compatible, what brings you to say that a
file has the 2000 format instead of the 2002 ?

Hi Gerard,

Example:
In 2002 you can specify 3 timelines: top tier; middle tier; bottom tier,
such as Quarters, Months, and Weeks, which is useful if you are working
towards product launches (as I am) but need lower level timing. In 2000 you
can only specify 2 tiers: major and minor. When I reopened a project it
automatically opened in 2000 despite being created in 2002, and hence my 3
tier timing was not applied.

- I have discovered a basic fix to this anyway ( open the 2002 program then
open the file ), which I no doubt should have thought of before posting !!!
