Project 2003 - Setting Clocks & Flags for tasks in progress and la

I saw this in a project plan once before... where there was a column on the
far left that had two indicators: a clock symbol when a task had started but
was not yet due to finish, and a red flag symbol when a task was past the
finish date and not showing 100% complete.

I've come close to figuring this out a few times by monkeying around, but
cannot seem to get it working. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Gordon Simon,

You were most likely looking at the Status Indicator field. Right
click on an existing column heading, choose "Insert Column" and find
the Status Indicator field. Click OK to add the Status Indicator
field to the left of the column you clicked on.

The field shows the following icons:

Check mark if the task is complete
Nothing (blank) if the field is scheduled for the future
Clock with Check mark if the task is on schedule
Clock with exclamation mark if the task is late.
