Project 2003 won't stay activated

Help!
I can't get MS Project 2003 to stay activated.

When I first installed the program (under Virtual PC 6 running Windows
XP) it went through the install and activation process fine - or so it
seemed.

Now, every time I start up Project it tells me it isn't activated, and
sends me to the dialog box to do the activation again. I make the
proper selections to activate it, and it starts to run. When the status
bar gets about half way across the screen the process just quits.

I have no problem running Project after that, but the next time I start
it up, it does the same thing again - AND tells me I only have X number
of "sessions" to go without completing the activation process.
Each time I run this the count goes down by one, so soon it will
probably not let me open the program at all.

I've looked all over the MS web site for a phone number to call to do
this by phone, but the material all says I have to run the activation
wizard to get a phone number. It says to run the wizard by "on the
Help menu, click Activate Product." Unfortunately, there is no such
item on the help menu SO I AM TOTALLY STUCK.

How can I get this stupid thing to activate, or at least get a phone
number that will let me activate it?

Thanks for any help,

Very Frustrated

Is this the full retail version or the evaluation version? Curious because
phone activation isn't available for eval software.

Hi Steve,
This is a full version, albeit a educational one. Does that make a
difference?

Thanks Julie. I went down that road, but had the same results
described above. If anyone knows of an actual phone # I can call to
resolve this I'D LOVE to hear about it.
Thanks.
