Project 2007 keeps freezing

Taffy

Hi, I have Project 2007 on my PC and it used to work without any
problems, however when I use it now I can create new files and save
them ok but when i try and re-open the files project just "freezes"
and the only way i can close it is by using Task Manager.

If anyone can offer any help on resolving this I would be very
grateful!

Many thanks in advance for any help offered

Hi Taffy,

Are you using Norton Security? If so, there have been a number of
reports in this newsgroup describing Project freezing and failure to
open files. Apparently there is some conflict between a recent
update to Norton and Project. Disabling the Norton Office Plug-in
appears to resolve the problem.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
