Yes, I know it's pretty old but can some-one tell what version it is please?
I would like to buy a later version but don't know where to look. What sort
of dollars might I be looking at?

Hi Don,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

Project versions from 98 go: 2000, 2002, 2003 and 2007. Project Standard
2007 costs about $600, see:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/project/FX102464431033.aspx. However, if
you search google you should be able to pick up an earlier version a lot
chaeper. Project 2007 has lost of good things, but 2003 was a sound version
to have.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)
