Project cannot open the file

We just installed Project Server 2003 in our team. I created a resource
pool and, resource groups which are : Project Managers and Team
members. We use Windows authentication.
Only Project Managers have access to Project Professional 2003. Others
have access to PWA.
To the rest of the Project Managers (around 20people), they can access
the server and the files in the server. For 2 Project Managers they can
access the server but they can't access the file in the server.
The error message given are : Project cannot open the file. Check that
the file name and path are correct. Check that the file format is
recognised by Project....etc.
Can you help?

niken,

I did have similar issues and was resolved after applying the latest service
packs to the MS Project.Back then I was using MS Project 2002.
Not sure if applying this service pack resolved it.In any case give it a try.
