Project Error Signature

Hello,

My name is Ranj and I am encountering a MAJOR problem with MS Project. When
I open the Sharer File ("Resource Pool") and another project file, I cannot
save or close any of the files without MS Project shutting down without
saving any work.
I have taken note of the error signature in case this may help you:
App&ModName: winproj.exe App&ModVer: 11.2.2005.1801 App&ModStamp: 42ee6fe4
fDebug: 0 Offset: 000035fd

I need to allocate a few more resources to projects, however I cannot do
this due to this problem. How can it be solved?

I was thinking maybe my PC just needs more RAM? There are no signs of file
corruption and servers/drivers have not been changed. I have no problems
opening and editing any other project files, only when resource pool is open
with them.

Regards,

Ranj

Sounds like your resource pool is corrupt. I would open all projects sharing
the pool, then individually unattach from the pool. Save all files. Close
and delete the pool. Create a new pool by saving a new project called pool
then attach all other projects again. Resources will automatically come
across with this process (but do take a backup first).

Remember that renaming a file, moving it or over-writing it with another
copy are all actions that can corrupt the pool or any of the sharing
projects.
