Project Pro 2007 will not complete initial configuration

Jon

I've attemped to install Project Professional 2007 and have the followign
error after installation while Project is configuring - "There is not enough
memory to complete the operation...". This laptop has 3072 physical memory,
T7300 CPU, 200GB HDD (80+GB free) running Vista Ultimate and MS Office Pro
2007 and Visio Pro 2007. I've stopped services and background programs to
the point where there is nothing else to stop/close.

Suggestions?

Hi Jon,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

The only suggest I have it to look at FAQ Item: 18. Memory Problems.
Although it was written for Project 98, it could still be relevant to your
situation.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)

I am receiving the exact same error. I am have an HP 6710b laptop running
Windows Vista Professional with 3062mb RAM, 150GB hard-drive (60GB C:\, 90GB
D:\ - with 15GB free on C:\). At the moment the error presents itself, I have
1.8GB of FREE memory! Does anyone else have a suggestion as to a cause? I
read the KB articles, and all pertain to Project 98.
