Tasks not being updated in Project Pro 2007

While testing Project Server 2007 and Project Pro 2007, I have seen where
task updates are not being captured in the actual project plan in PPro 2007.
At times if I view the Resource Usage I see the time captured, but the
updates are not reflected in % complete in the project plan. Is this a known
issue?
Also, I am constantly getting queue failures when trying to process
activities in Project Server 2007. Is this another known issue?

Any advice would be appreciated as I want to go live with 2007 soon!
Thanks,
Dots

Dots,

Two items to think about related to this issue...

If tasks are being updated via PWA (by team members), after hours are
"accepted" by project manager, the plan must be re-published for % work
compled to be updated.

Also realise, I believe there is a time delay between the various Project
Server databases which may be causing your issue... another words it just
needs more time.

I have not yet installed SP1 on either the Server or the client. I am
waiting to hear about any related issues to the sp1 installation. Are you
aware of any negative impact following the update?
I just went back into my queue to see if I could retrieve some old messages
and they do not seem to be there any longer. I will be doing some testing
tomorrow and could share errors with you at that time.
I just find it strange that I have users testing by entering Timesheet, then
importing timesheet into task page, then submitting tasks for approval. Is
it only when these tasks are approved that the updates happen? I would think
so. I believe my tests from two weeks ago were after PM approval and the
time in the project plan itself did not get reflected in an updated %
complete.

Dots:

The updates must be approved before the project plan is updated. Let us know
what you discover with your testing. Keep in mind that successful queue jobs
are purged every 24 hours and failed jobs are purged weekly, unless you
change the queue settings. So, you can't wait a week to gather this
information.

I've been having a similar problem with PS2007 and I have not yet installed
SP1.

I have Team Members updating task status through PWA.
The PM is reviewing and accepting the updates.
The processes are queued as expected and show a successful completion.

The updates are never heard from again. They do not show up in PWA, MOPP,
or in the My Tasks view of the Team Members who submitted the updates.

Could this be a queue timing issue? What are the recommended (not default)
queue settings that folks have had success with?

Thanks
