Project Professional vs. Project Server

If we have Project Server in our environment and are using Project
Professional 2003 to access Project Server will the way in which we do things
in Project be the same (ie. managing resources, calendars, tasks, etc) as if
we were just working in Project 2003 Professional or because we have it
connected to Project Server will the way in which we do things be different?

Hi,

The process will be different:
- By all means, you will get your resources from the Enterprise resource
pool and it will be impossible to change their properties
- If you will be using timesheet, you will have "protected actuals" that you
cannot modify in Pr. Pro
- You will have to learn about publishing and using local copies
...... (less important)
