Project Rename Not Working

I'm running Project Server 2007 and am having difficulty renaming my
projects. The methods to rename a published project are:
1) Right-click-->Rename from the Open Dialog in Project Pro 2007 (note: I'm
not doing this to my local cache of projects, just the ones on the server).
2) In PWA, selecting Edit Properties.

Neither method works. The 1st method provides a message that the rename was
successful, but won't take effect until the server has time to process the
request. The second method provides no feedback.

Does anyone have experience with this issue or have any suggestions on how I
might accomplish my goal?

thanks
Jason

There is a bug in Project Server which is resolved in one of the hot
fixes. A work round with method 2 is to change the name and also make
a change to any attribute in the lower section of the properties page.

Confirmed that the work around does indeed work. Thanks!
Hopefully a SP is due out soon.
