Project Server 2007 advice needed

I read some of the literature and still confused. So, dumb question. Can we
have WSS team sites and Project Server on same server? Or do we need one WSS
server for team sites and one WSS server for Project Server?

Current scenario: Small company, 200+ users. We have WSS v2 with WMSDE in a
stand-alone (not farm) install. A handful of sites and slowly growing as
users see its advantages. We are definitely going to upgrade to WSS v3 using
the gradual method. We were just going to use WSS v3 version of WMSDE. But
now we are thinking about Project Server 2007, because we have more Project
readers than creators and don't need the full Project Pro product for the
readers. We can use Project Web Access for the readers.

We do have a separate SQL Server 2000 server that we purchased for a 3rd
party product needing SQL as the back end. If we go with Project Server, our
setup would be the SQL server as back end and the WSS team sites plus
Project Server server as the front end in single server farm scenario
(allowing us to add WSS servers down the road). Will that work?

Thanx,
jremmc

MOPS 2007 PWA sites are WSS sites, so you need WSS installed on the same
server.

Absolutely your scenario will work !
