Project Server 2007 Manage Users Page Missing Show Options

Today it appears that my Manage Users page has become modified. The "Show" options" (All Users, Specific user) are no longer visible. Note: I have 2 instances: Production and Train. This issue is occurring in the Production instance only.

When I launch Manage Users, all I see is the Search option, and aside from that, the page is blank. I can search for users, and if they have an account, it will find them. But the listing of users I always see is gone.

I have made no configuration changes. I do not even know what would cause this to happen. Can anyone out there help me with this? Does someone know how to resolve this?

When you hit 400 users in your Project Server 2007 system, the Manage Users
page no longer shows the list of users. Instead, the system displays blank
page and you must search for users. By chance, do you now have 400 or more
users in your system? If so, you are seeing the default behavior of the
tool. Let us know.

Hi Dale,

Long time no chat!!

I do have more than 400 users now. Phew! It's good to know this is default behavior.

However, it is not very helpful to me. We actually use the information on that page for a specific report focused on Last Connect. Now that the users are no longer listed, the report can no longer be generated.

Is there a way to bring it back? Or do we just have to deal with it the way it is?

Please let me know. Hope all is well!

Michelle

I was pleased to answer your question, my wonderful student! :) To the
best of my knowledge, there is no way to display more than 400 users on the
Manage Users page. At this point, you will probably need to extract the
data from the Reporting database, using SQL Reporting Services or Crystal
Reports. For guidance on how to set up this report, you might want to
repost this as a new question and let our SQL experts assist you. Hope this
helps.
