I get the same message. But it is the first time I want to pubilsh the wokrspace to a different server. I dont know if it has anything to do with the fact that I never restarted the IIS on the new server. But I am pretty shure it has something to do with the Sharepoint Web Application setup in Central Administration. Krossing my fingers for any new development on this case. I dont know what information you might want to solve this.
