PS2007: View for all issues/risks/tasks assigned to me

Hello,

How can I get a global view of all issues/risks/tasks assigned to me?? this
should include issues/risks/tasks from all projects (we create a workspace
for each project and i could be assigned issues in many workspaces)... I
thought the "reminders" webpart did this but is not all-inclusive... please
advise.

Hi Pedro,

That is a good question. There are several ways you can do this:

You can use the Data Analyser to have an overall view off your risks and
issues, but still this is very limitted. This is what we do:

We usually write a reporting services report that accumulates all Risks and
Issues. The problem there is to extract the information from SharePoint. You
can either do this via web services or ( that's what we have done) we created
a shaddowing database that captures all Risks and Issues in a seperate
database. Based on this database it is very easy to create Risks and Issue
Reports.

Another alternative is is create a Web part that gives you a consolidated
view of all Risks and issues, but this requires more custom development.
