.pst attachment blocked

I'm trying to send a .pst file as an attachment to an
email. Outlook seems to be preventing the attachment.
Any ideas why? Thi sisn't an incomeing attachment, it's
blocked when I try to drag it from the desktop to the
message to attach it. Thanks

Rename the attachment to .ps_. Or are you saying that Outlook has locked
the file and you cannot drag it to the new mail message? If the latter,
shut down Outlook and reopen.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

Are you trying to send the file that Outlook is currently using?
