pst file import/export from 2003 to 2000

I use the import/export pst file function to keep my
laptop and desktop outlook folders current. I have a new
laptop with Outlook 2003 and my desktop has Outlook 2000.
I can not import pst files from 2003 into 2000 and receive
an error message. Is there a fix/workaround or file
converter that will allow me to continue running both
versions? Thanks

No, but import/export was never a good solution to begin with.
Use the old format PST in both installations. Copy and re-use PST's as
needed to synchronize.
